There is no better way to learn to draw the human figure! Participants will be able to sketch undraped models in a variety of short and long duration poses over a 2 hour session. This is an open (uninstructed) studio class. Suitable for any skill level, life drawing is beneficial to both the beginner and the experienced artist. Ages 18+ only. Sessions will run for 12 weeks.

Learn the tricks of the trade in the art of watercolour from David Greaves and make your paintings come alive. Students will learn how to do value sketches and will be introduced to wet in wet techniques for skies, backgrounds etc. For beginner to advanced students.
6 Weeks – Thursday, February 20th to March 27th, 1pm to 3pm $150
This acrylic course taught by Tania Caryi, offers the inexperienced student the opportunity to create an individualistic painting(s) in an uninhibited and supportive environment. Learn techniques in application and methods in creating texture and volume while exploring colour appreciation and different ways of seeing. Learn, apply, create!
6 Weeks – Monday, February 24th to March 31st, 7pm to 9pm $150
A meeting of two loves – your animals and your art. Learn how to portray horses, sheep or other pets using oil or acrylic. Lynda Cunningham will guide you through the process: from planning from photos, palette suggestions, and composition. Intermediate skill level suggested.
6 Weeks – Tuesday, February 18th to March 25th, 7pm to 9pm $150
Create your own Memory Blocks, using copies of your favourite family photos, vacation pictures, meaningful art, or images that simply speak to you. Learn the techniques to create your own personal keepsake and the knowledge to continue crafting on your own at home.
1 Day Workshop – Sunday, February 9TH, 12:30pm to 4:30pm $65

Soul Collage is an easy, fun tool for exploration and expression of the Self. Accessible to everyone—even artistic-ability-naysayers. Under the instruction of Sue Reynolds, each participant creates their own deck of collaged cards; images that honour the journey of the individual and promote personal growth and self-acceptance.

Staring at a blank canvas? Join local artist Shelly Burke as you explore the exciting techniques of painting in either oil or acrylic, and learn simplified methods to produce spontaneous looking landscape paintings. Hands-on with Shelly’s guidance, students will work to develop their personal style as they gain confidence in drawing, colour mixing and composition. All levels of experience welcome.
