Shelley Macbeth at Blue Heron Books in Uxbridge is one of the most knowledgeable and passionate booksellers I’ve had the honour of meeting. They planned an author talk and book signing and it was one of the most successful events I have ever done. And I’ve done over 300 events! A truly amazing bookstore. —

Students will take home their assembled Canadarm and the book Taylor’s Pneumatic Toys, which includes full schematics to build 8 pneumatic projects at home.

Grab the forgotten trinkets buried deep inside your jewellery box – you know
the ones – a little button from your baby’s first jacket, the mate of an earring
long lost but still treasured, that ring you never wear but can’t bear to part with,
the beads to a necklace your mother wore. We all have them but what to do
with them? Well, now you can gather them together and string them onto a
necklace that is chic, upbeat and loaded with meaning and lots of memories.
In the afternoon, further channel your inner jeweller and create a fantastic
pair of earrings or bracelet to keep or gift.
