In order to excel in a chaotic, competitive environment your team needs to play at world-class levels like the teams at organizations such as FedEx, GE, IBM, Castrol, Unilever, Microsoft, Yale University and NASA. Through his professional development training Robin Sharma has helped these and many other enterprises unleash the highest potential of their people and develop employees who Lead Without a Title so that your company reaches its strategic objectives fast
The Durham Art of Transition Creative Awards (DATCA) are a new expression of corporate and civil citizenship in Durham Region, designed to engage creativity, innovation and collaboration in Durham Region’s business community. By building on the momentum from the 2009 Art of Transition Symposium, the awards will continue to grow Durham Region’s creative economy – including large corporations, small- and medium-sized enterprises, non-profit organizations and government – by celebrating creative minds in Durham Region. The awards and the breakfast are part of a day-long celebration of Durham Region’s creative economy that will showcase our rich history, dynamic attractions, and innovative business community.

The unpretentious atmosphere of Blue Heron Books with its comfy chairs, wood shelving and creaky floors lends itself to a long slow, browsing session, but under that sleepy atmosphere vibrates a strong pulse. The store has a quaint, old-fashioned look with an up tempo vibe, because there is always something happening. The store is a hub for the community and a bastion of calm chaos where everyone is welcome, even the local dogs that drop by with their owners for a treat from the tin kept under the front counter.
